BOILER CODE FLANGES

We continue to offer replacements for legacy systems or new applications that don’t require B16.47 or AWWA flanges. Note that the Blinds are provided “to match” either slip on or weld neck flanges, so if you’re looking for blinds by themselves, we’ll need to know with which type they’re being paired.

Flange Specification and Identification

  1. Flange Types and Facings: Flanges are categorized based on types like 'weld-neck RTJ' or 'socket-weld RF,' along with corresponding RTJ gasket dimensions per ASME B16.5 standards.
  2. Standards: Fundamental flange dimensions adhere to ASME B16.5, BS 1560, DIN, or API 6A.
  3. Nominal Pipe Size (NPS): NPS is a dimensionless label that defines the nominal size of pipes, fittings, or nozzles, denoted as NPS 4 or NPS 6.
