As a reminder, the latest edition of ASME* flange standardization, ASME B16.5-2017, has been updated as of 2017 and serves as a revision of ASME B16.5-2013 for ASME flanges. The next edition for ASME flanges is scheduled for release in approximately two years. Texas Flange will review this edition upon its release as we do for all carbon steel flanges, stainless steel flanges and alloy flanges.
As the needs of our customers for various flanges are often comprehensive in nature, and as flanges are a critical component of an ever evolving industry, Texas Flange strives to ensure that we are up to date with the latest editions of the governing specifications of all flanges and that we adhere to those flange specifications. Because we are a leader in the flange industry, Texas Flange provides flanges and other products compatible with the most cutting edge technology on the flange market.
Naturally, as many of the applications our customers have involve flanges from old, archived, or outdated specifications, we keep these flange specifications on file in order to provide both product and information to anyone in need. Having been in the flange business since 1986, we understand how important it is to review the past and work through the present with an appreciation for the timeline of the flange industry. This allows us to move forward in an efficient manner, anticipate any changes down the road, and adjust accordingly so that we serve you, our customers, better.
